Can the equipment integrate with my MES or PLC?

Yes, and it is standard capability rather than a paid add-on. The host software provides multiple interfaces: TCP sockets, Modbus TCP and discrete I/O handshaking for PLCs, and REST APIs or direct database access for MES, ERP and QMS. Work orders, serial numbers, measurement results, verdicts and reject reasons can all be exchanged bidirectionally. The process is: agree on the interface and field mapping, commission in a test environment, validate with real work orders, then switch over on site. If the counterpart system only supports file exchange (CSV/XML), polling a shared folder is also supported.

How to integrate a measuring system with MES / PLC (4 steps)

Estimated time: PT1D

  1. Agree on the interfaceConfirm with both IT and automation engineers: TCP, Modbus TCP or discrete I/O on the PLC side; REST API, web service or direct database access on the MES side.
  2. Define the field mappingList the fields to exchange (work order, serial number, measurement items, measured values, verdict, reject code, timestamp) and confirm data types and value ranges.
  3. Commission in a test environmentEstablish the link outside production and validate both normal and failure flows such as reconnect, timeout retry and out-of-order messages, keeping logs for traceability.
  4. Validate with real work orders and cut overRun a full closed loop with live work orders, confirm data lands correctly in the MES, then schedule the on-site cut-over and operator training.
